The Producer of the Album

When I first started this music programme, I only knew the very basics of how to run a DAW. Lacking a traditional musical background, I often sat in the studio wondering, "Do I really belong here?" But being unprepared became the most honest part of the process. Every new technique I learned felt like a meaningful discovery, not just a technical step.

From Programming (Computing) to Programming (Music)

My background is in web development, with some time spent on video production as well. Even though the tools have changed from code and frames to melodies and rhythms, the transition felt natural. It is simply a different medium for speaking to people. For me, the constant remains the act of storytelling.

Nostalgia for the Canto Pop

The music stays close to the ballad style. I prefer a slow, steady rhythm so the lyrics can be heard clearly. But the emotional soul of the work comes from City Pop and J-pop. Those genres influenced me as I was growing up. I’ve always been drawn to how those melodies capture urban loneliness. Since I grew up with Canto Pop, these sounds are already part of my DNA. My goal is to use them to help performers tell the hidden stories of the city.
